The AttributeSettings attachment allows you to modify Maya attributes assigned to a node's ctrls.


Similar to how ctrls and joints are tracked by arise, Arise now also tracks Maya attributes assigned to ctrls. For instance, an attribute such as 'Ik_Fk_Switch' can have its default value adjusted, allowing it to be set to 1.0 instead of 0.0 upon build.


Each node determines which attributes are exposed and modifiable, typically limiting them to non-deforming attributes. This ensures that, when the rig is built, it correctly matches the guide positions.


Attributes:

  • 'Attributes Settings' - TA table listing all exposed Maya attributes. Displays the attribute name along with the ctrl it is assigned to (in brackets).
    • 'attr_value' - A table listing all exposed Maya attributes. Displays the attribute name along with the control it is assigned to (in brackets).
    • 'lock' - Locks the attribute to prevent modifications.
    • 'keyable' - Toggles whether the attribute is keyable.
    • 'hidden' - Hides the attribute from the Channel Box.
  • 'Reset Changes' - Reset any changes made to the 'Attributes Settings' table above.
